About me…
Levi Espeseth graduated from Duquesne University in 2021 with his M.M. in Bass Trombone Performance. He has performed in wind bands, orchestras, jazz ensembles, jazz combos, trombone quartets, and brass quintets. He studied with Curtis Olson, Jim Nova (Pittsburgh Symphony), and Jeff Dee (Pittsburgh Symphony). Levi also has a strong background in music theory. He was a Graduate Assistant in music theory during his time at Duquesne and a Teaching Assistant in music theory at BSU. In his free time, Levi enjoys playing bass guitar, banjo, buying books, playing Super Smash Bros Melee, and playing poker.
Levi also received a B.A. in Bass Trombone Performance from Bemidji State University in Northern Minnesota.
Teaching Philosophy
As a teacher, Levi emphasizes cultivating a strong sound concept and developing efficient and effective practice strategies, problem solving, and learning techniques.
